Lesser Shade

Lesser Shades are Veteran Monsters. They are Endermen. Like all Veterans, they deal increased damage and have increased health as compared to their vanilla counterparts.

Spawning
Lesser Shades can spawn in the same locations as their Vanilla counterparts - almost anywhere in the Overworld at a light level of 7 or less.
All Veterans have a rare chance to spawn in place of another Vanilla monster. First, the chance to spawn a Veteran is rolled. Then, another roll is conducted to determine which Veteran will spawn.
Drops
Lesser Shades drop Vanilla Enderman drops, Veteran Melee Drops, and additional Ender Pearls.
Behavior
Lesser Shades behave like their Vanilla counterparts, but with a longer follow range. They also use a few skills.
Skills
Lesser Shades have three main skills. They can pull players to them, blind players, and summon Lesser Dark Sprites.
Advancements
Killing a Lesser Shade is one possible way to complete the Kill a Veteran Advancement.
