Skeletal Rogues are Veteran Monsters. They are Skeletons equipped with leather armor and iron swords. Like all Veterans, they deal increased damage and have increased health, as compared to their Vanilla counterparts.

Spawning

Skeletal Rogues can spawn in the same locations as their Vanilla counterparts - almost anywhere in the Overworld at a light level of 7 or less.

All Veterans have a rare chance to spawn in place of another Vanilla monster. First, the chance to spawn a Veteran is rolled. Then, another roll is conducted to determine which Veteran will spawn.

Drops

Skeletal Rogues drop Vanilla Skeleton drops, Veteran Melee Drops, and gold ingots.

Behavior

Skeletal Rogues move very quickly, and will chase players over long distances.

Skills

The primary skill of Skeletal Rogues is Veteran Bleeding. They have a rare chance to inflict bleeding upon striking a player, which will deal additional damage over time.

Advancements

Killing a Skeletal Rogue is one possible way to complete the Kill a Veteran Advancement.
